Destacking Automation
At ThyssenKrupp Drauz Nothelfer, our destacking automation systems can be designed so that the destacking of blanks can be performed by robotic units or linear shuttles. Our application specific solutions have been created for the processing of steel and aluminum blanks.
Destacking automation can be continuous through the use of a dual pallet transfer cart system. When one pallet transfer cart’s stock has been depleted, the destacking operation can continue destacking on the second pallet transfer cart, thus achieving a continuous destacking operation.
In the destacking process, assisting blanks to separate before they are destacked ensures a smoother and more reliable system. To achieve this, blanks can be pre-separated by means of fanner magnet assemblies, or high-powered air jet knives.
Our centering stations produce fast and reliable centering results by mechanically centering or from the use of state of the art vision systems.
